The clock is running

It feels like such a long time since I've been on the blogs. Gosh, I don't even know where to begin.

I guess the last time I was here it was all about Directing. Well, the class itself went fantastically. It was wonderfully prepared and went off without a hitch. It was a lot of fun. The beer prop was particularly popular seeing as I somehow 'accidentally' managed to oversupply that prop and everyone had to have a beer at the end of class.

We also heard about our Directing pitch. Hardly surprising, I wasn't short-listed for one of the Directing roles. I was completely OK with that decision considering my pitch performance. What I didn't expect was that I would be nominated to be a Producer on a film. I said I would do the role but didn't want to Produce a particular film because it might be too challenging for a part-time student. Well, they had a challenge for me! So now I'm in charge of a production which needs to completely recreate 1800s Australian convict life. Where do you get 1800s Australia in 2009... that's what were frantically on the path to find out. And organise.

So, until the end of the Production my life has ended. Gone. Underneath a pile like this;

Hope everyone else is out there having a great a time as I am.

OMG! I've been having fun, too. I haven't been blogging much either. My computer is down & I have to use the one at work. I'm going through some kind of metamorphosis, anyway. They say ink gets in your blood & it must be true. Now days, my fingers are stained with newsprint & my nostrils full of the acrid sweet smell of wood pulp. I revel in the tactile dry leaf rustle of brittle black & white pages.

I guess at this point you're trying to decide whether to do a documentary or historical fiction.

In either case, try to pair a really fat prison guard with a really skinny one.

Oh, I know exactly how you feel! Some days (or weeks or months, if you're really unfortunate) are just like that. All you can do is keep chugging and take deep, purposeful breaths when you feel like you're drowning.

Oh, sweets help, too. And taking a moment to play smooshy face with a fluffy, furry creature.

Pfft, I think I'll retitle your blog "The Vainest Male Alive in His Natural Habitat."

Shutting down things, came to see your response to me back in December for shits and giggles.

Lol, rrrright, I'm a fatal attraction, so dangerous and I live in my own reality.

Dude, I hate to burst your bubble, but....I think it was ME that rejected YOU, remember?

And you know exactly what I was talking about, as well as WHO I'm talking about. Your friends with the, um...curious online hobby...that came at me for over two years.

Thanks for that response, it clears up a lot.

It's tantamount to a man twirling his finger aside his head and mouthing the words "she's crazy, don't listen to her" as a defense...which as anyone knows, is often a sign of guilt.

Ugh, it's like looking at an old yearbook and wondering what you ever saw in that guy.

All I ever wanted to know was if you were involved in it and why...you couldn't answer or explain.

I think it's YOU people that need their "enhanced" versions of themselves publically validated that have trouble with reality, not me.

Coward.

Less 'Whoa' and more 'sad' Rita.

Even if I had time at the moment, I still wouldn't give flying fuck about that nonsensical rambling.

It's tantamount to saying, Whatever, believe what you want to believe lady.

Australian prison, I was taught in the myopic and regressive school I attended, is a redundant phrase.
This doesn't, I think, capture the reality of Vegemite and the easy access to marsupial resources.

As vain as you might be, and I would go so far as to say you are varicose, I enjoyed the sheer intensity of your latex based subject matter.

So as the business proceeds, let me know if I can help as I am an expert on everything I've ever said.
